Our founders are all educationists at heart. We aspire to change lives for the better by making education more motivating, interesting and effective and we believe ICT has a tremendously important role to play.

To better understand the needs of the education industry, we work closely with the best subject matter and academic experts in the country. Today we are pleased to say that we have a pool of content specialists to draw on at any given time. We believe in the philosophy that the role of educational software is to facilitate teaching and learning, not to replace the teacher.

We believe that a passion for software development and design is as important as qualification and experience. As a result, our software developers, multimedia developers and graphic designers are people who are ardent enthusiasts in their respective fields. We expect nothing less than that from them.

ICTL’s business model is to be the management and training arm of the Smart School Concept, which includes being a provider of top-quality educational programmes, products and services.

As a Bumiputera-status company registered with the Ministry of Finance, Malaysia, ICTL also works on major government initiatives in multimedia development, ensuring that all projects awarded are completed on time, within budget and of top quality.

Our years of experience as teachers and trainers, and our extensive co-operation with educators of all levels and with the Ministry of Education has given us both an overall perspective on education and insight on ground-level implementation. Educational modernisation and reform is not only desirable, but essential for the survival and progress of the nation.

In order to deliver the right product out to the market on time, we place tremendous importance on our Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) - from business modelling, requirements gathering, analysis and design right through to development, testing and deployment. Emphasis is also placed on support and after-sales services that include complete documentation with professionally conducted end-user training.

Whenever possible, we provide full SCORM/AICC standards compliant educational solutions. While our commitment is towards Open systems and standards, we are more than capable of working in various Internet technologies and standards on multiple platforms - PC, Apple and Linux. Our own Rapid Application Development (RAD) tools enable us to shorten development time without compromising quality, while adhering to industry standards and exploring leading-edge technology. However, we firmly believe that technology is only a means to an end, and it must not cloud our ultimate goal of the perfect teaching and learning environment.
